Founded by a passionate young artist with a modern approach, Atelier Meslin aims to bridge the gap between timeless craftsmanship and contemporary personalization.
the founder approached me with a clear but challenging goal : she needed a professional brand identity that would not only legitimize her work but also allow her to transition from her current job to full-time dedication to her ceramic and porcelain creations.
While she was confident in her skills as an artist, she knew her brand image needed a facelift -something more polished, professional, and trendy to truly reflect her expertise.
The first step in our collaboration was a deep-dive conversation, where she shared her vision, her values, and her passion for her craft.
We discussed everything - from her favorite parts of the creative process to the inspirations she drew from the city of Limoges.
It was important for me to understand not just her business but also her personal connection to it, as this would serve as the foundation for her brand strategy.
After our call, I developed a brand strategy to guide the design and align with the founder's goals.
I then created a full brand identity, including a logo suite and custom illustrations that reflected her artistry.
The color palette was modern yet timeless - vibrant but easy on the eyes - paired with typography that balanced her style and the preferences of her older clientele.
The final brand identity I created for Atelier Meslin was everything she had hoped for : The design was feminine without being overly delicate, modern but timeless - reflecting her dual love for both tradition and trendiness.
The logo suite was designed to be versatile, with a primary logo that communicated professionalism, a secondary logo that offered flexibility, and a monogram that added a personal and authentic touch.
The illustrations were inspired by her work itself, adding a creative flair that made the brand feel authentic and personal.
